Scrimmage at ICC
Team 4656 is having a bast at the ICC scrimmage today! So far we have had our ups and downs, such as a faulty ribbon cable and coming in a mere 1.4 pounds away from the weight limit, PHEW!!! Despite complications, we are making the best of things and having a great time! We are very excited to see Polyphemus in action today and can hardly wait to compete!

Rock Solid mentors new Lego Robotics team
These five, plus Tyler, were extremely useful to the Lego Robotics teams competing at Marshall School this year. They helped all day at the scrimmage and the competition events. Rock Solid!

Assembling the Bumpers
Our Rock Solid team has the best sponsors and mentors! Dan Cruikshank of Granite Gear (http://www.granitegearstore.com/index.html) helped our team make the bumpers. Two of our team members received sewing lessons at Granite Gear headquarters.
the plan
when we were deciding on which kind of robot we wanted to build, we threw out many ideas like a robot that zooms around and blocks frisbes or one that just collects them but then came the *classified information* idea and we stuck with it and got the *classified information* parts and started building the *classified subject* -DJDuzRite

Carbon Fiber
Our sponsors are awesome! Rock Solid! One of our sponsors, Kestrel Aircraft, has fabricated some components of our robot for us out of carbon fiber, which is the material that airplanes are made of. Our team was guided through the process in making our tailgate and our battery well out of carbon fiber as well. As soon as I can attach some photos of the process, I will update this post!
